After yet another date goes horribly wrong, Clay wakes up on a mysterious island where he meets John Doe, a stranger who takes it upon himself to help with Clay’s disastrous dating life. Armed with dating tips, relationship advice and an enthusiastic push towards dating apps, John tries to help Clay understand why he keeps finding himself in the friendzone. But the more Clay searches for answers, the more it becomes apparent that his dating problems might have less to do with everyone else than he thinks.
